My cousin is having a very Very last minute wedding tomorrow and asked me to make a cake. I'd like to do something like this but don't have any idea where to look for the jeweled brooch.

Any thoughts on a direction? I have to buy it today, so I can't order it online icon_sad.gif

Thank in advance for your help

You could make them out of gum paste with sugar jewels.

I don't know if you are up to it, but go to the second hand store. I have found some amazing brooches there and the cost is so minimal. You could also go to a costume store and see what they have there.

If it doesn't need to be edible, you can find broaches like these at Target, JCPenny's, Claire's, Macy's... just about anywhere that sells costume jewelry. It'll all depend on how much you want to spend on them.
