I normally hate pricing questions.. But today I really need your help
So I tried decorating some cookies with fondant not for anyone really, it was just an experiment. I posted them on my FB page & I got a lot of "likes" & "pricing" questions...
It literally took me around 15-20 mins just to decorate each cookie ( not sure if thats normal 
) bottom line ... THEY ARE SO TIME CONSUMING...
So I was thiking of selling them for $5/cookie. Is that too much??
I know it all depends on the costs of ingredients & other factors but if it were you how much would you charge??

If (for example) each cookie takes 20 minutes, you pay yourself $10/hour, ingredients are $1, and overhead is $0.50, a good price would be $10/3 + $1 + $0.50 + 20% = $6/cookie.
Here in California we are required to use a commercial kitchen, so adding in rent ($15/hour) and increased overhead (x2), our price per cookie would be $25/3 + $1 + $1 + 20% = $12.50/cookie. That sounds like a lot, but customers will pay that much for detailed decorations, and if they balk at the price you can offer them simpler (and cheaper) alternatives.
