So I made a buttercream transfer which took me three days to do as I wanted to make sure I had enough drying time for the frosting to harden. I'm so excited as the transfer came out sooo awesome that I couldn't wait to put it on the cake. As I was trying to put the image on the cake I tipped the board just right and YUP! in super slooowwww motion the image came sliding off the board and shattered into many tiny pieces on top of the cake. I think I stood there in stunned silence as I just couldn't believe it. I didn't know if I should cry or laugh, so I took a few deep breaths and decided then I had to draw the image free hand as the cake had to go out the very next morning. I think I did a pretty good job recovering. The guy who it was for loved the cake so much he took it office to office to show everyone and didn't know any different. LOL I know I'm no artist but I think I did well.. The pics are in my gallery as I couldn't attach them here. It's the John Deere one
