Has anyone had success using Ideal Confectionary Sugar Substitute for their decorator's icing? I was wondering if it tastes and decorates like regular confectionary sugar.

The main ingredient in Ideal is xylitol, a sugar alcohol that can have laxative-like effects in some people.

We did extensive research on sugar-free baking and the best alternatives we came up with were Stevia and Splenda (sucralose).
