Then you can order some extra sticks and some silicone molding compound and use them to make your own molds to make more sticks!

I want one, too!

It's a gun made especially for the isomalt sticks. An ordinary glue gun will explode and cause serious burns. This has happened before.

You can use the Cake Play sticks, but apparently, they are a bit smaller and don't go thru as well.

Close. It's modeled after a hot glue gun. Regular hot glue guns made for glue sticks not only overheat and explode, but they cause the isomalt to overheat and run from the end instead of allowing the trigger to extrude the isomalt, thus causing bad burns. That's nothing to play around with! This isomalt gun has built in features modeled after glue guns but take into consideration the safety factor needed for dealing with isomalt.

They explode with the sugar in them. The melted sugar is much more runny than melted glue -- hence the problem. It gets everywhere it's not supposed to be, causing problems and serious burns.
