HI! I was asked to do a romantic comedy movie themed cake for my school and i cant come up with any ideas. Please Help. Also I was thinking of coating the cake with chocolate ganache. Thanks in advance.

If you have (or have access to) a cake/frosting sheet printer you could print out pix from actual movies and mount them on fondant around the sides of the cake. Then make something related to that movie in fondant for the top - or save the 'closing pic' from the movie and put that on top.

You could do a movie reel either out of fondant or just pipe one onto the cake. You could also make a small (or large depending on the size of the cake you're doing) popcorn bucket cupcake to go on top http://www.easy-cake-decorating.com/popcorn-cupcakes.html. As for the romantic part my brain hasn't got any ideas for that yet... but I will put my thinking cap on

You could incorporate your own ideas into this and add some hearts on the side or something for the romantic part. You could put the popcorn bucket on the top. Hope that helped!
