I need to make a piano cake and i was wondering if anyone has done thie before?

If yes, all tips will be welcome!!!

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a few weeks ago i made a tiered cake for a girl that plays the piano...its in my photos.....i added fondant cut out notes to the bow on top....she loved it

If you mean a piano shaped cake (3-D) it's fairly simple. Make a template of the outline. Cut a sturdy board following that template. Attach 3 short pillars on the underside. Use the template to cut out the cake. Fill and ice. I made the top of my piano from white chocolate so that it was firm. Also the bench was from white chocolate and sheet music written on edible paper. I have a pic in my gallery.

I've done a couple of pianos, I make mine from RKT then after much smoothing and shaping I cover in dark choc. Cut out the ivory keyboard form white choc or fondant. add details and cover three push in pillars in choc and attach to bottom on piano. For the bench I use to short pillars covered in choc and two hershey candy bars on top for the seat. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow. Good luck
