I have never made or even tasted a rum cake! Does anyone have an EASY recipe? What filling would you use?? Please help me! Wedding is Oct. 1st!

for a wedding cake is maybe better to avoid walnuts - make a small trial cake to see if the consistency is ok for the cake you have to make

I have found that a simple pound cake soaked with dark rum instead of plain simple syrup is perfect and easy.
