Hi,
Sorry I'm a bit confused, so the bottom tier is a square, and you made the top tier as a round tier, that is only slightly smaller than the bottom square? have I got it right?

Can you shave down the middle tier to be smaller than the bottom tier, maybe by using a plate or smaller cake pan as a template and make a top tier that is again smaller than the middle and bottom tier?

Who is the cake for? what is the theme?

its zebra...botton is square 9x9 (1 pc) and the top is 6x6 but there are 2 of them just cuz the batter made 2. so I have this only 2in of square in ht and 4 in of circle top.

so what will you do? do you think shaving them down is an option and making it into a 3 tier cake or just shaving down one of the round ones and making it a 2 tier cake?

Hope it works out for you! What is your plan of action?

and the theme is just zebra? is it like the zebra animal theme, or is it like a zebra print fashion them? This is a girls cake right? do you have a idea of the topper?

sorry for all the questions, I'm trying to think of simple ideas for you to finish it nicely and quickly.

I think you should forget about making it into 3 tiers, just keep it to the 2 tiers, if thats what the cake was originally meant to be.

Maybe just trim the side of the round cake to make it slightly smaller than the bottom tier, fondant the both in zebra print, or the bottom in zebra print and the top tier in a different solid colour, then you could either pipe around the bottoms of the tiers or put ribbon around the bottom for a nice finish and to decorate, simple ideas could be fondant bows, spots, cutout shapes or fondant swirl roses etc,

There are some simple ideas I found,

Hope this helps you! Good luck! I bet it will turn out great! icon_smile.gif
