Hi everyone, I am new posting here. I am making a wedding cake and one of the cakes has a filling made with sweetened condensed milk, butter and pecans. The cake needs to be set up by 1pm and may not be served until 7 pm, Will this filling be alright at room temperature for that time? I have made it for family before and it has sat out for 4 hours, so I am unsure. Can someone please advise...thanks icon_confused.gif

With those ingredients it *should* be fine. Fillings I keep refrigerated are ones that have a lot of cream cheese in them...or contain whipped cream, whole eggs/egg yolk, or fresh fruit.
