I know I have seen photos of cakes with cake drums under each tier, intentionally visible and part of the design. I thought I saved one to my favorites, but it's not there. Have any of you done a cake like this and can point me in the direction of a photo?

I used double, 1/2 inch foamcore squares, staggered by an inch so as to allow the application of decoration. Each board had a band of fondant on the reveal and ribbon applied to the edge.
