What flavor would pair well with banana? I've thought about cream cheese or chocolate. It needs to be nut free so it can't be peanut butter.

Really good vanilla, by using vanilla paste or scraped vanilla beans. I like to keep it simple with a good banana cake. White choc would be good too. Honestly...what you suggested all sounds good, but my pref is vanilla.

Caramel - easy to make by using brown sugar instead of white in your SMBC.

Vanilla is good, but I'm hoping to branch out and expand my flavor offerings. Caramel sounds really good. I didn't realize you could make it by switching out the sugars. I'm definitely interested in trying that one.

When I use brown sugar, do I use the same measurement as white sugar? Is the brown sugar packed into the measuring cup or loose?

I currently use 5 egg whites, 1 c white sugar, and 3 sticks butter.
