Hello as you can see I'm a newbie! icon_smile.gif

I was wondering if there is any way to keep leftover frosting inside the decorating bags without it going bad?
I have done some cakes and I make more frosting than I need (so I dont have to make more and risk the color not matching) and I always have leftovers.
I dont do enough cakes to just use it on the next cake the next day. I do a cake maybe once a week or two weeks.
I would like to keep it to save on the expenses, but not sure how?
Any suggestions?

Thanks!!! icon_biggrin.gif

I frequently use multiple bags of various colored frostings when I make a FBCT. Rather than empty out my bags and waste (or re-package) , I place all of my bags in a zip-loc bag and put in the fridge. Comes in handy for later projects. I just let my bags come to room temp and I'm good to go!

Just a side note: I have numerous tips and couplers so if I have a few tied up in my fridge with my leftovers it's not a big deal.
