I'm making a cake this weekend for a dear friend's daughter and she is allergic to soy, dairy and yeast.

I believe I have the cake and buttercream icing ready to go, but I need some suggestions and guidance on HOW TO COLOR the frosting? From what I'm seeing, Wilton icing colors have vegetable gum which may fall under the soy category?

I'd like to make it as cute as possible - she's only 2 and because of her allergies, she never even got to have a 1st birthday cake!!!! Thanks in advance!

We use powdered food coloring -- the only ingredients are the food dyes themselves, and they are dairy-free and soy-free. Allergies to food dyes are rare (although some people are allergic to them).
