How do I achieve the color "tangerine" or is it just a light orange?

Once you leave the basic primary colors, color is sooo subjective. Check out this Wikipedia page on shades of orange.

Tangerine appears to be a slightly browned orange on this chart, but i always thought it was just a slightly paled shade of pure orange 
. Maybe you can get an actual sample or swatch of the color needed and try to match that.
