Hi
I am now trying to cover cakes and pipe with buttercream. I am experiened with fondant, but now want to have a go using b/c.
Can anyone recommend a really good book or dvd on this? I was piping yesterday and had a lot of little air bubbles. Would really like to know how to get it smooth looking.
Thanks for any help icon_smile.gif

Watch Tonedna1 videos on youtube. Sounds like you are getting to much air in your butter cream. I notice when I make a small batch and the ingredients don't cover the beater it tends to get more air bubbles. When I double my batch and the bull is full I don't get the air bubbles in my frosting. She has a lot of wonderful videos to watch for free.
