I am so behind on cakes lately it isn't even funny, though they r getting done on time. I was wondering how much cake would it take for 150 people? I haven't made a wedding cake for anyone this size before. Thanks! icon_smile.gif

JSU7 ~ I know this is sacrilegious talk on this site but I make lots of cakes that serve 150 and I follow Rose Levy's guide of a three tier cake of 6", 9" and 12" ...two baked layers each tier that are then torted. I know it doesn't match the Wilton or the Earlene charts but for some reason it works. Every bride who has gotten one that size has said it was just perfect amount. Everyone who wanted cake got a nice piece (and of course not every guest will want or can eat cake).
