Hello,

Can I freeze frosting in a mason jar and for what length of time? Thank you so much in advance.

Blessings,

I just used some buttercream I had frozen over a month ago, and it tasted fine. I had it in a glass pyrex bowl with glad press n seal, and then the plastic lid on top

I freeze frosting all the time because I prefer to mix up large batches in advance. I actually make my plugs them in a freezer bag. When I need to frost something I grab the plugs and set them on the counter to thaw. Takes less than an hour and I just pop them into my piping bags.

If you're unfamiliar with the plug idea, you can see it at

It's awesome because everything stays really cleanicon_smile.gif
