I was wondering if anyone has had experience freezing whoopies?

I was thinking of making them and frosting and assembling them then wrapping in saran wrap and taking a few out of the freezer weekly as needed. I am afraid there may be condensation that would collect in the saran wrap or an odd texture after they come to room temp. Any advice?

Yes, I freeze them all of the time, wrapped in plastic wrap. I sell them in the same plastic wrap. Yes they are a little sticky, but whoopie pies are sticky!
