Has anyone tried the Comstock Key Lime pie filling? I bought some today and was wondering if it is very good.

Also, I did not buy enough since after I got home I decided to make a larger cake. Has anyone ever mixed pie filling with some buttercream to get more out of it?

This cake is just for a group of us going to Weeki Wachee this weekend to watch some of the older mermaids from back in the day. It is not foe a customer.

I have never tried their key lime but it sounds yum. I've mixed cherry pie filling into BC and it's yummy!

thanks for the replys. I tried it and was not to keen on the taste. I think that I added a little to much Loranns Oil flavor to it. Hubby ran out and bought more. icon_smile.gif

BTW I have never tried canned pie fillings, but the Comstock key lime flavor is good.
