Hi! welcome! icon_smile.gif

Ok, business cards are a must, could be very simple just with your name, what you do, address, email and phone number.

Family and friends are a good way to start, because family will tell other family and friend will tell other friends, and so on and so on.

Setting up a website or blog is also a good idea.

Attending fairs is good, I was talking to another CC member yesterday, she was going to a fair and needed help deciding what cakes and cookies to show. She was making dummy cakes to show her decorating talent, making sample cookies to hand out, and displaying photographs of her best cakes.

Also, its important to do your research about prices, you don't want to charge too much or too little, If you need help along the way, post your question on these forums, someones always going to be here to help you!

Hope this helps! Good luck! thumbs_up.gif
