Hello all:

First time poster. I am making a cake in a few weeks. Square cakes 16", 12", 8", and 4" (this may actually end up being 6"). In the past I have used wooden dowels for support, but I was wondering what do you all think is the best methods for stacking. I was told bubble tea straws would work well for this cake, but something about straws holding a cake this large scares me a bit.

Thank you in advance for all of your advice!

Heather

SPS, in my opinion, is the way to go. Check out the sticky on the top of this page. It explains everything you need to know.
