I have been asked to make a baby shower cake using this theme.

http://www.celebrateexpress.com/Fisher-Price-Baby-Shower-Party-Supplies/73632/PartyKitDetail.aspx

I have free reign to do whatever I want. Looking at the theme, it seems like I should make the cake brown and do the polka dots in the coordinating colors and then make all the animals to put on the cake. I have never made a chocolate buttercream that crusts. Do you think I have to do it in chocolate buttercream or would another color work and still fit the theme? I just can't seem to think of another way to do it and still match all the decorations like she wants.

Thanks!

Thanks for the links to the recipes. Unfortunetly I just spoke to the mom to be and she does not want chocolate frosting. The more I look at the theme, I'm getting more ideas. Now, I'm thinking light green cakes ( she wants 2 tier) and doing a border around the two in a brown fondant band with the polka dots in the band. That's just one idea....anyone have any thoughts?
