Ok so I finally found tylose powder.. woohoo.. So how much do I add to my fondant to make gumpaste? Do I just knead the powder in? Or do I have to do something different?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for. This is to make modelling paste, if you want to make flowers and such there are some recipes out there using cmc for flower/gumpaste. Nicholas lodge does one.

Check out the Satin Ice fondant website, click on videos and watch the one by Betty Van Norstsrand, fondant to gumpaste. I think this will help.
