Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much I should charge for a jack daniels carved bottle cake? The cake I am supposed to make has the bottle of jack in a red lined case. The cake has to feed 75 people. I will try to post the pic. I have to give this lady a price quote and this is my first carved cake to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Well..It depends on where you are located in the country as some places cannot sustain higher prices than say NYC.I charge $5.00 a serving for my 3D/2D cakes..so if you are wanting to serve a cake for 75...cost starts at $375.00.This will be a large cake however as a Jack Daniels bottle usually isn't that big.Maybe setting in on a sheet cake will be easier and still give you your serving amount.

Agreed, no less than $375. Before you worry about this any more you may want to contact the customer and find out their budget, it may not even be worth pursuing.
