This might be a really silly question but I was wondering how to do natural and spirally flower stems like in the link below:

The stems are created with floral wire and floral tape and each leaf is added onto the wire. In this case the curlycue is created by running the floral tape either off the wire and wrapped around a cake dowel to shape or ending the floral tape at the end of the wire and just wrapping the floral wire around the dowel for shape. HTH

I have used floral tape to make those for grape vines and clematis vines.
