I am doing a 3 tier cake for my friends and on the top tier is going to be a bobble head topper of them. It is not very heavy, but it is pretty tall (about 6-7 inches tall). Weighed less than a pound I think. My question is do I need to put dowels in the top tier? Im kinda thinking better safe than sorry but thought Id check to see if anyone has more input. Also, how many dowels should suffice? It is a 6 inch square. Thanks so much!

Put support under it if you think it is too heavy. I have all of my brides bring their toppers to me. If it's very heavy or I'm afraid it'll sink, I put support under it.
