I just got a late order for a cake for Saturday...bottom tier marble, great...she wants the filling caramel with pecans and bananas...So I was thinking to make my homemade caramel and then add the chopped pecans and chopped/sliced bananas to caramel to warm the nuts and break down the banana a bit so its not raw? Does this sound like a doable plan?
Please let me know!! I know there a lot of great bakers out there! Some advice please!
