I had someone ask for 42 Disney Pixar Cars themed cupcakes. They also want a smash cake that goes with it. I have never done a cupcake order and so I am not sure what to charge. How much do you charge per decorated cupcake or do you charge by the dozen? Also I do not know what to charge for the smash cake. Typically if I was doing a large order birthday cake I would just throw in a 4" smashcake for free. But since the smashcake is pretty much the main attraction I feel I should charge for it and maybe do a 6" or I can do a 4" and charge but I do not know what to charge for a 4". I really hope someone can help give me some advice, thanks in advance

I charge $3.00 each for basic buttercream swirled cupcakes..any fondant flowers,edible inages etc are $3.50 each per cupcake.I charge $35.00 for my 6 inch double layer smash cakes...A 4 inch cake will feed about 4-6 so I go on the basis of $3.00 a serving so I would charge at least $25.00..I know 6 servings x $3.00 doesn't equal 25 but I always add in extra for flowers etc..HTH
