Hi everyone, I'm just trying to figure out how to make this flower. I think it's pretty straight forward, but I'm not sure what cutter was used to make the petals. Any idea?

EDIT:: Ooops, here is the link to the picture, cannot upload the pic:

There is no photo or link to a photo. It would be hard to answer your question without seeing a reference.

pretty flower, simple but striking. i would also like to know for sure, but i think it looks like large rose petals thinned and frilled.

Looks to me to be just rounds for the petals. OR one that has a slight point on one end, but I think any round would work well. Just ruffle the edges and adjust them to suit - maybe cut a bit of each center end off.

Thanks everyone! I will try it with the large petal cutter to see if I can do it. I do like the open rose too, but I think I'll try the other way first. Thanks!

Charly's Bakery is around the corner from me haha! How weird to find them referenced on an international website lol

Have you tried emailing them? I'm sure they wouldnt mind telling since you're not in SA and wouldnt be their competition. I was also recently browsing youtube and found a fondant flower tut that had flowers that looked similar. Will post link when I find it again.

Edited to add hope this vid helps? http://m.youtube.com/index?client=mv-google&desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US&rdm=4nja592m4#/watch?v=wZ1TJGepWtc
