I've not done FBCT, but I'm positive I would make that same mistake. My guess is at least a few people have done it.

I had that happen. Forgot to reverse the image.

The good news is that once you do that you are super careful not to do it again.

Ugh, that would be so frustrating! I have yet to do an FBCT where it matters which way it goes. That is so something I would do though!

Been there, done that! With an image that took me 2 hours to pipe (and it was the third time I had done it, over a few years). Second one only took 1.5 hours to pipe.

The above is the (cupcake) cake I had issues with. I did take a picture of the backwards one as well, just don't have it posted on here. The thing that sucked about this one is that when I went to take pictures of this cake I actually dropped my camera on it. Thankfully it only hit the bottom corner of the emblem and I was able to repair.

My SIL is an Ag teacher, and that is who this is from. When I handed this cake over I swore it was the last time I'd be doing that emblem. It so far it has been.

Looking at the date now, that may not be the exact one I had issues with, because I didn't post all of them on here, but I did do that stupid thing 3 different times on cakes. Like I said, the one I forgot to flip, was the last time.

Nah, don't feel stupid! Happens to all of us.

Like I said that was the third time I'd done that particular one, and I have done many other ones, so you'd think I would have known better. I didn't realize it until I took it out of the freezer to put on the cake. Wanna know what I did when I figured it out? I left the house! I was just like, I gotta get out of here for a while.
