My dad just told me he bought me a Cricut!!! I only do this as a hobby so i didn't want to spend so much on something I would only use every once in a while. But I have been dying to get one because they seem so neat. So for those that have one, care to share any tricks and advice?? icon_biggrin.gif

You'll have fun with it. Just be patient with it. Read the instructions! And watch the video that comes with it. And read the MANY threads about it here on CC (but don't be discouraged by negative comments you'll find. I think most people just don't take the time to really learn how it works, or they try to use it in a way that it's not intended).

Wilton Sugar Sheets work great with the Cricut.

If you want to use fondant with it, it works better to freeze it for a bit before you cut, then freeze it a bit again after cutting, before trying to lift it off the mat.

Have fun! I saw one at Big Lots the other day and thought about getting it.
