So last might I made 2 mickey heads ears and 1 bow... I used 50/50 Fondant and gum paste and they were getting hard while I was making them but I went to check on them this morning and they were really soft and sticky!!!! Does anyone know why this is happening??? Do I need to use only gum paste??? If so I need black would I be able to use it tomorrow??? They are picking their cakes at 730 pm????

I am assuming you are part of the country being affected by the heat wave and humidity. Use straight gumpaste as your items are picking up the humidity. It just might be hard enough tomorrow, but you will need to make your own black or airbrush it.
