I have a tree full of ripe plums. While they are super delicious to eat, there's just too many of them. Last year I made tons of jam (still have some).

Does anyone have any ideas that I can do wtih them? Has anyone incorporated them into a decorated layar cake or made fillings with them?

If so, are there any recipies you'd like to share? I've searched for ideas and only come up with jam, pie and traditional plum cake.

Thanks!

Could you dry them and use them in cakes that way? Or try making an upside down plum cake instead of pineapple?
Sorry I never did either so dont know how they would work.

If your plums are the purple exterior, green interior prune plums, I have a plum pie recipe that is excellent- don't know how the other types of plums would work in that recipe.

Also I did a quick google and found plum quick bread and cobbler recipes. Since you have tree which is producing, why not freeze them for the winter desserts.
