I had a two tiers stacked cake, a 10" and 8" on top with a board in between. While trying to separate the tiers the fondant stuck to the board and I lost the top of the bottom layer. Please any suggestions so that this doesn't happen again!

I sprinkle either some corn starch or powdered sugar on the lower tier just where the upper tier would touch before placing the next one on top. That seems to help the sticking.

I cut a piece of parchment paper (about 1/4" smaller than the tier sitting on top of it) and place that between the tiers.

Are there any tutorials or videos for stacking fondant cakes?
I have looked for quite a while but can't seem to find any.

Thanks!
