I have to do a crawfish boil cake next month and I was wondering if anyone could please tell me how to do the flames out of isomalt? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Are you looking for instructions to use isomalt (have you used it before?), or do you need to know how to make a flame?

Check out the picture of the cake I just uploaded to misc. 3D cakes, the Mortgage Burning cake http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2105537. Following the instructions for melting isomalt, tint it red and orange and pour it over a bucket or deep bowl of ice (small cubes work best). It will harden almost instantly and give the random appearance of flames. Hope this helps.

I have never used isomalt. I will read the instructions on how to use it. Another CC'r posted how she did her flames on one of her cakes. Sounds simple enough.
