Hi All,

I'm making a cake for my son's 1st birthday in Sept and am hoping for some ideas, it's going to be three cakes all seperate so i don't need anything stackable. I was thinking a chocloate cake and vanilla sponge cake but can't decide on the third cake. They will all be covered in fondant but i wanted something different. Any ideas would be really appreciated.

How about something citrus, like orange, lemon or lime?

love citrus cakes for the summer. lemon cake with a rasp filling, yumm. or orange cake with a vanilla custard and vanilla bc (think creamsicle). perfect for summer! or a pina colada cake pineapple or coconut cake with the opposite flavor for filling and/or frosting. I've even made coconut fondant.
