It figures....none in Alabama!

I considered doing a King Arthur Flour Great Cake in the Colorado State Fair but it's being held the same weekend as the cake decorating contest. Can't manage 2 contests in one weekend . I am doing a C & H Sugar Cupcake Challenge and Ghiradelli Chocolate Championship, also both at the CO State Fair. Aside from some frostings and fillings, I've never formulated my own recipes before and it's been really fun!
