The customer has asked me if their 6.75" cake topper would be too big for their 4" and 6" round wedding cake. This is my first wedding cake so I'm not sure if it would be or not. Any idea anyone? Thanks!

Is it 6.75in wide? If so then it wouldn't even fit on the 6in cake, which is the bottom tier. So yes I'd say it is too big.

If you're talking a 6" & 4" round tier with a 6.75" wide topper, of course it won't fit. If you mean it's 6.75" tall, I think anything taller than 4 or 5 inches in height would be too tall if the tiers total 8" tall.

I'm sorry, duh. It's 6.75" high and 3" in diameter.

To me I think depend on the topper it sounds too tall for the small cake.

If they have the topper I would ask to see if and put it on top of the cake pans (or even cake dummies if you have them) that way you would get a visual of what it would look like.

I told them that 4" to 5" would be best. icon_smile.gif

Thanks so much for the responses!
