Does anyone have a white buttercream recipe that is not Wiltons recipe? I am doing a wedding cake this weekend and they are wanting a white buttercream icing even though I suggested a cream colored (because they are using a willlow tree figure topper). I have always used the Wilton white buttercream where you use crisco and butter flavoring. I've never cared for the flavor because to me it is like eating a mouth full of grease and leaves a nasty film in the mouth. Customers don't seem to mind because they are always saying how good it is. But I thought I would see if there was something else out there I could try. Any ideas would be great!
