Hi Cakers!

I have a pack of Frosting Sheets that I use when I print with my edible printer. I noticed that they expired May 2011. About 2 months ago.

What does it mean for a frosting sheet to expire? Is someone going to get sick from eating an expired frosting sheet?

Thank you,

Michael

expired frosting sheets are just dry. Sometimes they will crack going thru the printer or crack as you take them off the backing.

When an icing sheet goes bad, it smells. cracks or falls off the backing. The smell will tell you if it is safe to eat.

Thank you!

No smell and no cracking when I printed.

This was my last sheet in the pack. I have a brand new pack that does not expire until 2013.

I appreciate the help!

I would also be careful running dry sheets through the printer as mine got jammed inside and I ended up throwing the printer away..I tried to get all of it out but to no avail...
