I see many cake decorators using piping gel for the "water" effect. I don't like the way piping gel tastes and was wondering if there was anything else to use instead. I have to make a "summer splashtacular" cake and want to have a cool water effect without the piping gel. IMO, the piping gel ruins the entire taste of the cake. Suggestions for alternate methods???????? Thanks.
