I assume I put too much vanilla extract in my frosting b/c it smells like straight alcohol and tingles your tongue when you eat it.....

I've already seperated it and tinted it into 4 different colors (before I knew about the smell and taste), is there anything I can do to save this frosting??

Thanks!!!

I don't think there's much you can do at this point. If you hadn't already colored it I'd say whip up another batch without vanilla and mix the two together to cut the flavor. Sorry to be no help at all.

Well I guess I could make some more and just add a little more color to it. I made a double batch and have enough to make one small....not to remake it all. and no way to get back to the store so I guess I have no choice
