The plaid impression mat is the one I have a question about. I have impression mats in diamond and straight lines already. How would I make a plaid design on BC icing or fondant BUT make it in color?? The picture shows black and white. I want pink and white plaid design on my cake.

How would I do that with this impression mat?

Seems to me the only way to do that would be to paint the color on after making the impression.
