hi i'v made my own wedding cake.. fruit ..i'v put on the marzipan i was wondering how long in advance can i put on the fondant iceing i get married in 10 weeks its just one cake no stacking..would just rather do it sooner than later iv not done a wedding cake befor anyone help please ....

You may want to edit your post and in your title mention something about marzipan or fruit cake.

I honestly don't have an answer for you. My thought is that the fondant will just get harder and harder and after 10 weeks would be rock hard. I don't know how fruit cakes are stored, so I have no idea if that effects it any or not.

ok thanks .. fruit cake will store well for weeks or months do you think i should wait a few mor weeks dont want people to break there teeth ....thanks
