I would like to start selling my cake balls or pops and do not know how to price them. Also, how to package them when I do sell. Any help would be appreciated. I am new at this and would like to use this as extra income. Thanks

First off, if you are doing it out of your home make sure that you are legal with the state. In NY, I had to get certified with the health department and build a completely seperate bakery in my basement in order to do so.
That being said...I charge $18 a dozen for my cake pops. Because I am a custom order bakery, I have minimum orders which would be a dozen. If I am at a show, I will sell them for $1.50 a piece. If they are looking for personalized cake pops then I would charge more for the extra time and ingredients.
As far as packaging, I use a treat bag to cover each one and either use colored ribbon or a silver twist tie to close them. Then I simply box them up.
I hope that this helps and good luck!
