I'm trying to make a Crown Royal bottle and I'd really like for it to stand up!! I can do it laying on the board, but that's just not as much fun icon_smile.gif

I attempted to make a stand up cake before, and it really just didn't work out well for me, not sure where I went wrong.

If anyone has advice on how to do this, let me know!!!

Much appreciated icon_smile.gif

I would stack layers with filling, dowel, chill well and then carve to shape. layers are stacked as you usually would, one on top of the other....you may need 5 or more layers with minimal filling or frosting in between to get the height you need for entire bottle. I did an LV purse cake that was 5 layers high

Also cardboard and support for every 4" of cake height.
