Hi everyone! I'm new here...and I'm from the UK..... and I'm an idiot!! I think I have finally achieved meltdown in my stress filled life as I have just realised that the cake I defronsted last night and have spent hours this morning cutting, buttercreaming and sugarpasteing is not for delivery this saturday but next!!!! AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!
What advice can you give me... I know that sugarpaste does not freeze well so that must come off but can I salvage the buttercreamed sponge or do we just eat the 40 portion cake and I start again???
I usually freeze my freshly made sponge cakes until near to the time they are needed then get them out and decorate them - I'm just not sure if it is safe to refreeze a once thawed out sponge cake.
Any thoughts?? icon_cry.gif
