Ok, so got a small air brush system. I want to use it for a cake to give it the shimmery look. Do I just buy the regular pearl, white or silver luster dust? Do I put it in the airbrush just like I would if I were painting it (mix it w/ vodka)? It's a white wedding cake and needs the shiny/shimmering look. TIA!

It needs to be VERY thin. But I've airbrushed with vodka and luster dust before.

you can do pearl or white luster dust. Just make sure it isn't a "sparkle"- that has too big of a flake to go through small brushes.

Mix your dust in a seperate cup, not in your brush. Use vodka or everclear. Make it thin and shake it up really well. It will look solid colored but if youpull some out you should be able to see through it. You can always do it thinner, and then do a couple of coats. It totally depends on your airbrush.
