Stabilized Whipped Cream, Help Needed

I want to cover my cake with white whipped cream but I heared that it dosnt hold very well specialy if you put it on cake 1 day a head. I want it very white and to be used in decoration too. I really want a tested recipe, I cant fail! this is the first order in my life! icon_sad.gif

I've covered cakes with whipped cream and it held up fine for a couple days. The only thing with decorations is you have to use big tips (not regular piping tips like for buttercream) because whipped cream is mostly air and using too small of a tip will deflate the air from the cream.
